Most correspondence courses require you to begin on a specific date and only assist you in the writing of the manuscript. Writeyes Correspondence Courses give you the freedom to choose your own starting date. They also aid in the writing and the marketing of your manuscript. From generating an idea, to writing the final line, from gathering a list of markets, to folding your SASE*, Writeyes is with you every step of the way. By the time you've finished your Writeyes Correspondence Course, not only do you have a completed manuscript, but you have also mailed it off to a publisher. Writeyes offers the following correspondence courses:

Writeyes Workshops
Tired of the same old writing class? You know what I'm talking about. The one where you sit at a desk or around a table while a teacher lectures. Slightly better are the workshops where you get a chance to write, but not enough time to share or interact with fellow attendees. Writeyes Workshops take place in your home, replacing desks and chairs with couches and pillows, proving that writing is an active process best done in the company of other creative people. A Writeyes Workshop can be scheduled either as a full day seminar (8 hours) or as a four-week session (2 hours each session). Writeyes offers the following workshops:

• Visualeyes: Using parlor, theatre, and word games we explore The Write Sense, The Write Place, The Write Character, and The Write Word.
• Fictionaleyes: Just as the best athletes cross-train, we cross-train genres by trying our hand at Poetry, Personal Essay, Short Story, and Playwriting.
• Realeyes: We honor our work by giving it respect through The Write Discipline, The Write Manuscript, The Write Author, and The Write Future.
• Objective, Obstacle, Outcome, Oh My!: By employing action packed theatre games we develop a strong structure with Concrete Objectives, Realistic Obstacles, and Satisfying Outcomes for any short story, play, or novel.

Cost: Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire residents = $60.00 per person (minimum 6 participants, free for host).

Hire Judy
To get started, simply send Judy an email with your name, address, phone number, and the course you would like to take. Judy will send you a contract. In that contract, you will specify if you'd like to complete the course via email or postal mail and the date you'd like to begin. Sign and date the completed contract, send with your payment, and get started!
